Hannah's Daddy got to spend a minute in front of the camera with Cecilia. Cecilia needs to be in direct sunlight. Daddy is not sure why, but he suspects Cecilia's mother wants her to get a tan.

Hannah was very good with the new baby. She was very inquisitive, but knew to be gentle with Cecilia. BeBe, Hannah, and Cecilia spent some time together.

Hannah's new cousin was born last week. Cecilia Grace (last name withheld) was born on 06-04-07. Hannah visited Cecilia the day she was born and hung out with her for several days.

Hannah was on the edge of her seat after the screen went black at the end of the Sopranos. She covered her ears waiting for that final gunshot that would take out Tony, however it never came.

The last episode of the Sopranos left Hannah crying. Not because it was going off the air, but because David Chase choose to end the series with all kinds of questions lingering. Hannah woke up this morning demanding we drop HBO.

Green ice cream is most certainly the best kind.

Hannah has been a bit slow on learning NOT to throw her food on the floor. Sometimes it is just an accident, however when you see this much on the floor you have to wonder? I can not tell you how hard it is to take when Hannah looks me square in the eye and drops food on the floor. Grrrr. -Daddy

So Hannah got her hands on spaghetti again, and as you can see, she was happy about it. Nothing goes better with spaghetti than some green ice cream!

Apparently, peanut butter wears Hannah out.

So after the kids were off to their babysitters, the Atlanta/Augusta crew got together and relaxed while eating some very tasty crawfish. This was the 10th annual party, and it may have been the last. Stephanie and Andrew really appreciate all of our friends coming to annual party. Stephanie and Andrew hope there will be more parties in the future, but if not, we might have to start a new tradition in Atlanta.

Daddy was asked (by Momma) to watch Hannah and make sure she does not get pinched by a live crawfish. As a responsible Dad, Daddy asked the nearest cousin to watch Hannah so he could continue to take pictures. McKay did a great job watching out for Hannah and protecting her. Good thing too, as Daddy would have been in big trouble if Hannah got pinched.

You would be surprised how tasty a plastic crawfish can be after it has survived 10 annual crawfish parties.

This is more like it. Instead of Bud Light and cooked crawfish, Hannah is now partying with a plastic crawfish and a Capri Sun! Then she was off to hang out with Aunt Debbie while the irresponsible adults partied the night away!

Hannah did pretty well not touching the crawfish when no one was watching (or when she thought no one was watching). She did get very close to getting bit a couple times, however she made it unscathed.

Pop got to hold Hannah. That was a big deal because all Hannah wanted to do was touch more live crawfish. She would change her tune if a live crawfish got its claws on her hand.

Here, Hannah actually got her hands on one. Knowing Hannah's mother, I do not think that was the plan.

Hannah made an appearance at the "Pre-Crawfish" party. About 1-2 hours prior to the adults arriving for the party, the kids get out and play/taunt the live crawfish. This year was the first time Hannah was able to check out the live crawfish. As you can see, she was not exactly sure what to think about them.

Turn that Frown Upside Down

If ever in need of "turning a frown upside down", whip up a sherbet/sprite concoction and put it in a cup WITH a straw. Magic.

How do you like my new lip liner?

A Stroll with Gorin

Uncle 'Gorin', Aunt 'Asheesh', Momma, and I walked to dinner last week in Historic Roswell. I got tired of the stroller, so Uncle 'Gorin' tossed me up on his shoulders. After a while I wanted to run out in traffic, but they wouldn't let me for some reason.

My 'too-toons' look better through Mom's glasses.

just had to post this

While most were asleep at midnight Wednesday, two Lake Martin area students were beginning an 8-hour drive to the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, Va., to make a special delivery.

Auburn University seniors Cary Farrington of Dadeville and Ryan Hill of Alexander City were responsible for carrying a 4-foot by 8-foot sheet of plywood with up to 3,000 signatures, including interim president Ed Richardson.

The two seniors drove eight straight hours to Blacksburg to deliver and help put the sign up along with six or seven other signs in a makeshift memorial on the drill fields of Virginia Tech.

"Everyone there thought it was pretty cool," Farrington said. "They couldn't believe we drove all the way from Auburn."

There aren't any known immediate ties between Auburn and Virginia Tech, except for the fact the two universities' football teams met in the 2005 Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.

The sign, which reads "We stand with you in Prayer," was the first from another university to be erected in the memorial area of the drill fields, according to Farrington.

Farrington said he didn't talk to many students on campus, because there weren't that many on campus Wednesday morning.

"It was really surreal," Farrington said. "We didn't get to talk to a lot of the students except those in [the student government association]. But you can tell the general consensus is that it hasn't hit home just yet. They are still in shock."

A-Cow-Wah!

Hannah has been saying "A-Cow-Wah"! for a couple months now. We thought by now it would have morphed into English, but has not thus far. We've made it the Chambers battle cry! You should try to use it should you ever be stressed... it's quite handy!

It was very cool to see how happy Hannah was this Easter. She is always Happy, but it is really neat for Daddy to see her light up on a holiday like this. Daddy has secret plans to hide eggs about 6 months from now. Easter in October!

Hannah got an encouraging word, and maybe a hint as to where the next egg was hidden.

Easter Papa did a good job of hiding eggs outside, but Hannah found them all.

Got it!

Got it!

An old Pro!

At this point in the day, Hannah was an old pro at hunting eggs. She was on a mission in the back yard. She zeroed in on an egg and darted right for it in this picture.

After Hannah's midday nap, Papa took her outside to find more eggs in the back yard.

Hannah is trying to figure out exactly how many jelly beans she can get in her mouth at one time.

Hannah found the egg behind and under this chair. Instead of just moving the chair likes she likes to do anyway, she decided to craw under it. In case you are wondering, her mouth is full of jelly beans. She got her first taste of Jelly Beans this Easter, and later she decided that would help her not sleep well.

Hannah found this bubble soap in her basket. She walked over to Momma and said, "Mess?" Momma agreed and we opened the bubbles later.
