At dinner last night, we asked Hannah to say the blessing. It went something like this:
In the name of the Father, and the Sson, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.(making the sign of the cross...sort of) Bless us oh Lord and these your gifts...umm...ummm....with liberty and justice for all.
We'll take it...
This morning, Hannah slept until 11am...when I WOKE HER UP. I don't know why she slept so long...but I guess she needed the sleep. When I went in there, she said "Momma, I slept 2 nights." Just about, Hannah, you almost did sleep 2 nights!
Reilly LOVES to take a bath. We don't have many pictures for fear that the camera will be destroyed by the splashes. I decided to take a towel pic to show how excited he gets to be "sparkling clean"!
Hannah had a friend over to play today. They started playing Hide & Seek and wanted me to find them. It was pretty easy to play with them because I'd say "Ready or not, here I come"....and they'd yell out...."We're under the table!". Ha!
Andrew and Hannah made Mommy the best brownies in the world yesterday! Although Mommy questions who they were really for!
While on the way to Auburn yesterday, Hannah told us that she was "almost tired". While at the game, Hannah got cold and decided to bundle up in her blankie. No naps were taken during the game...but Hannah & Reilly were troopers!
Here's Reilly and his GodGordo at the Auburn game (embarassment). (Hannah calls her godfather Shane, GodShane. So I guess Reilly will call his godfather Gordon, God-Gordo!) As you can see Reilly is still sportin' his mohawk. A kid actually told us the other day that he liked "the way we do his hair".
Hannah and Reilly are getting along really well so far. Hannah has shown some jealousy in the past, and a little bit of jealousy of Reilly's time with Momma in the last week, however, over all, she could not be better with her brother. While taking pictures of Reilly, she decided to get in the picture with him, and it came out very well.
Reilly spent some time with Hannah and Daddy this morning, while Momma got to sleep in. Reilly likes his seat where he can sit up and watch everything going on.
On Fridays, we don't have to run out the door to dance or school or any other activities. Sometimes we stay in our jammies longer than we should!
Hannah insisted on sticking her tongue out! She wouldn't let Aubie hold her. I guess she has Momma's fears of letting a "character" near her.
Reilly didn't know what to think at first. He quickly realized that rice cereal is AWESOME! He would eat the whole box if we let him!
Reilly had his 4 month check up today. Here are the vital stats:
Weight 14lbs 8 oz (44%)
Height 24 inches (21%)
Head 42.3 cm (52%)
Temp 97.8 (he is cool)
Reilly endured a few injections! And he gained permission to start eating rice cereal. Stephanie is Hannah are going to pick some up at the store tomorrow, and we will try to get some pictures of the carnage.

You can cleary see that the cake was a big hit. Reilly was just annoyed that Stephanie wanted to let him get really close to the cake, but not give him one bite.
Reilly and Stephanie took time to pose with Monseinor Murphy, a priest that Stephanie grew up with in Mobile. Monseinor Murphy also married Stephanie and Andrew, and baptised Hannah.
On the way down to the baptism, we had lots of time to talk, lots of time during that 5.5 hour car ride with the kids. They were very good, but it was still a long ride. Anyway, Stephanie pointed out that we did not have a family picture with the four of us other than in the hospital the day Reilly was born. So here are two of them.

Reilly seemed like he was going to behave prior to the baptism, however things changed quickly.
Daddy got to hold Reilly a little bit, despite having both grandmothers at the baptism. I real feat.
Hannah and her cousins quickly found the baptism pool and tested their limits. During the whole ceremony, fear that the kids would fall in the pool was rampant.
This past weekend was Reilly's baptism. Reilly had a great time with his cousins and G, and lots of other family. G was proud to let Reilly wear the same "gown" that Daddy wore some 32 years ago. The "gown" was made from material from G's wedding dress, so there was plenty of history behind the "gown". As all men know, "gown" is just another name for a dress, but Daddy had little say in the matter.
G made all of the dresses that the girls are wearing in this picture.
Reilly was baptized this weekend! Here's a couple teaser pictures until we can post more.
I love my husband more than anything in the world. One of the traits I love most about him is his sense of humor. Sometimes he makes me laugh...about silly things. Sometimes he makes me laugh at myself. Sometimes he makes me laugh at him. In his world... this is how these words are pronounced.

1. I don't wear pajamas more than 1 night. (I though everybody did this, but apparently not.)
2. My pinkie knuckles are invisible when I make a fist. My piano teacher was always amazed I could reach the keys!. I know, I'm a freak.
3. I've been known to vacuum at strange hours of the night.
4. I have blonde moments frequently (no offense, Adrienne!).

*I asked Andrew, while in the drive up ATM, if he had any cash.
*I once melted my eyelashes together by opening the oven door with my head too close. I freaked because I couldn't see!
*I once was at the drive up at Chick Fil A screaming for them to take my order. Yeah.. it was Sunday. Nobody was there.
The list goes on...
5. The pillows go back on the bed in the same exact spot. No straying from this.
6. I can't stand it when people mispronounce the word "specifically" as "pacifically". GRRR.
