Blowing out the candles on the 5th birthday party

Hannah blew out the candles on her cup-cake creation, then ate it "all-gone". She had a great time and really enjoyed having her friends at the party. She doesn't know it yet, but she is looking forward to school starting back up next month. Or at least her parents are. -Daddy

Activities: Cup-Cake creation

One of the activities Momma planned for the party was for each kid to make their own cup-cake creation. Even LeighAnn got into the act (Ginny and Al's mother). Reilly went the other direction and just put a block on fondant on the top of his cup-cake. He later decided it didn't taste very good and spit it out (I don't balme him). Everyone got creative with their cup-cakes (Daddy stayed behind the camera).

Loyal readers will think Hannah's birthday hat is familiar. To date she has worn the same hat (that Momma made) for five birthday "seasons" (there is always more than one party per year). This year was the first year the hat had to be repaired, however it was a minor repair. To our surprise, Hannah wore that hat the entire party... for the first time.

Momma did a great job with the party, and especially with all the treats for the kids. Reilly and Hannah could hardly control themselves after the party... There were no naps taken after the injection of pure sugar.

Guess how old?

I bet you can't guess how old she is now?

Hannah's 5th birthday party

Hannah had her in-town birthday party two weekends ago. She had a blast at a local "Clay-Ground" store that lets kids make clay sculptures. Here she is before the guests and the messes appear.

Reilly's short attention span

Reilly was thrilled to hold his cousin Charlie for a brief moment in time. He then got distracted by a toy truck on the floor and wanted nothing to do with the other boy in the house. Go figure.

Birthday girl, for the ??rd year!

Hannah and Reilly helped Mom blow out the candles on her birthday cake this past weekend. Happy birthday from all of us. Thanks to Bebe for coming to town and helping make Stpehanie's birthday special (and taking the kids off our hands for a night or two). -Daddy

While Hannah did experience some stage fright during the "art show", she was able to get up and show off her work to the crowd. -Daddy

Hannah gets stage fright... in front of 8 people.

Throw back!

While I was loading some new pictures into the Chambers Photography Computer (CPC-2000), I ran across this old picture of Reilly. If memory serves, he was waiting in line to see Santa at the Mall. I don't recall sharing this one, but his eyes really shine and still do today.
