Sullivan's first Christmas

Sullivan really enjoyed his first Christmas today. He loved the crinkly wrapping paper from Mom's present. This is his pile of presents, with a HUGE stuffed doggie, just like Reilly's.

The kid's gifts

Santa left Hannah and Reilly a big pile of presents to fight over. Sullivan's present pile was a little smaller, but he did play for about 1.5 hours with crinkly paper.

Hannah the angel

Hannah was an angel in the Christmas mass last night. She was very proud that she would be the one to carry the baby Jesus to the front of the church. Here are some pictures from that mass last night...

Future basketball star... Hannah Chambers

You can not truly evaluate talent at a young age, or even on the first day of trying a new sport, however... Hannah clearly displayed all of the true markings of a future basketball star this morning at her first practice. She displayed incredible form, form that current NBA stars wouldn't dare try to match. She made at least 3 baskets in the hour long practice and she has been gifted with her father's genes, guaranteeing she will grow no taller than 5'04".

Hannah has a bright future in basketball.

Santa is Over Stimulated

Reilly-- "Hey Santa, Hey Santa, I'm THREE, I'm THREE!"

Hannah --"Hey Santa, Hey Santa, Don't forget about Sullivan this year. He's new."

Sometimes Sullivan gets quiet, then you realize he isn't quiet, he is sleepy.

More Halloween- Carving the pumpkin

Hannah and Reilly had a great time helping to carve the pumpkin this year. They especially liked holding the "guts" of the pumpkin and showing their "mean faces".

Sullivan is getting old...

Sullivan will be 7 months old next week. He is a great little boy. He sleeps really well, has a great personality, and has an infectious smile. He has just about outgrown this swing/chair. He has such strong abs, he can lean up and stick his head between the swing and the legs.
Some time ago, he figured out that he does not like pacifiers, but that his fingers taste really good.

Sullivan's big Halloween

Hannah, Reilly, and now Sullivan each rode in the wagon on their first Halloween night, the same wagon. Sullivan was a trooper, he stayed up all night and didn't whine about it one time. Despite looks to the contrary, there was no beer in that cooler, at least not at the end of the night.

Playing in the leaves

Most everyone can remember playing in piles of leaves when they were young... Hannah and Reilly, now known as 1 and 2, got their chance to play in a small pile this afternoon. It was very late int he day and the pictures were not very good, but here are a few of 1 and 2 having a great time.

Footnote- Mom and Dad have devised the uncrackable code of numbering the children by birth order. Now we can talk about them in front of them. They are all very smart, but they will never figure it out.

G and Pop's visit

G and Pop stopped by and stayed with us for the night a couple weeks back. The family photographer has been a little busy at his real job, hence the delay in posting the pictures. All the kids enjoyed G and Pop's visit, but Sullivan might have had some special attention this time around.

Can You Rd Ths?

This morning Hannah asked me (as she does every Friday) to write her a note to get ice cream in the school cafeteria. I said sure. She whipped out this note and said "Good, 'cause I was going to have to use this one!"

She is 6 years old and already forging notes to the teacher. Lord help me.

Birthday Party

Reilly rode the horsey at a Chuck E Cheese birthday party today. I'm
pretty sure he loves that place as much as I hate it.

2011 Halloween

Our lil' candy corn fairy, chicken and the egg had a successful
halloween night!! So.much.candy. So.much.FUN!

Beautiful

Hannah got off the bus today and was invited over to play in the
neighbor's tree. It was a beautiful day. A beautiful tree. A beautiful
girl!

Sullivan - 6 month stats

Weight - 15 lbs 4.5 oz. (12%)

Height - 26" (33%)

Head - 44.3cm (64%)

Sullivan is a very happy baby boy. He is growing so fast! The doctor was pleased with his progress but was a little concerned about his weight not staying on the curve. She said it's probably fine, but wants me to start feeding him solids twice a day along with continuing to breastfeed him. We'll go back for another weight check in 6 weeks.

He is rolling over both ways, sitting up with assistance, watching his brother & sister intently, sleeping through the night, laughing when laughed at, and smiling when smiled at.
