Nature Center

We went to the Nature Center today and the kids had a blast!
We checked out the "butterfly backpack" when we arrived. In the backpack, there were magnifying glasses, a "butterfly" dictionary, a bug jar, and some butterfly pictures and crayons. Hannah and her friend Knox had fun using the items in the backpack to make their experience more fun!

While there we saw tons of beautiful butterflies, owls, snakes, hawks, vultures, eagles, turtles, and a beaver.

They were given magnifying glasses to look at butterflies, bugs, etc.
They were looking at EVERYTHING through the magnifying glasses.


What else can I "examine"?




Learning about owls...screech owls, barred owls, barn owls, and the great horned owl.
