Hannah still enjoys getting baths in the kitchen sink. She is very active now, and constantly reaches for the water sprayer, or the level to turn the water on. She can not sit still for any period of time. You can also see in this picture, she has a very mischievous look on her face at times.

Since Daddy is using crutches, G has been helping to get things done around the house. Sometimes Daddy wonders if G came to help with Daddy or Hannah? Either way, Hannah has been making Pop (G's husband) very jealous by saying "G". Pop is jealous because he did not make the trip to see Hannah, or Daddy, and wanted Hannah to be saying his name instead. Hannah will be perfecting "G" on command to further tease Pop when she sees him next week.

Hannah has been interacting really well with G since she came to town to help her father after his knee procedure. Here Momma was giving Hannah a bath, and the photographer noticed you can see Hannah's hair a little better when it is wet, what little she has. Hannah does not rank very high in the Hair percentiles. -Management

Hannah wanted to say Happy Mother's day to all the mothers out there. Hannah is the luckiest little girl on Earth because she has the best mother around. Happy Mother's day Stephanie, from both of us. -Hannah and Daddy

Hannah and her parents went to the park today because it was such a nice day out. Daddy brought a soccer ball to the park and taught Hannah how to play. She was a natural and as you can see in this picture, she has already grasped the concept of NOT using her hands to touch the ball.
All kidding aside, Hannah is really getting confident in her walking. In just the last week she has started walking to everything, rather than crawling. You can actually see her confidence getting better everyday. She is looking forward to showing off her skills at the beach in a couple weeks. -Management

As I said below, Hannah was none too happy about her wake-up call. She took some time on Momma's shoulder to recover. We will try again to get a picture of her new tooth soon. -Daddy

Hannah has spouted her first tooth! Stephanie and I noticed it early this week, but have not been successful in getting a good picture of it. This was the best we could do. I never would have imaged how unhappy Hannah would get if we opened her mouth to take the picture while she was asleep. I guess I would not want to wake up with two adults holding my mouth open either. This was the best picture we could get of the tooth. The top of the tooth has broken through the skin so hopefully the painful part for her (and her parents) is over, for this tooth. -Daddy

While this is old picture, it has not been posted before. New pictures could be posted each day until Hannah is 18 years old, and none would be duplicated. -Management

Update on Hannah

Today Hannah met with fans from her website. She showed off some of her
tricks (like walking and waving) to impress the massive group of adoring
fans. It was very much like American Idol, only there was no singing, there
were no judges or competition, and no cameras. Other than that it was very
much the same.
Hannah asked management to thank the fans via this post. Hannah enjoyed her
time with everyone at lunchtime today. Hannah was disappointed she missed
one of her big fans from the office at lunch, but looks forward to seeing
her again soon. Hannah will be making appearance across town this weekend.
Look for her to be buying formula and a present for her mother for Mother's
Day. -Management

PS- Management heard the calls from the fans today to post more pictures.
Hannah's photographer will be off his feet (knee) for a little while, but
will return with more pictures soon.

Hannah is looking forward to wrapping "G" around her finger some more when she comes to help when Daddy has his surgery next week!

Hannah Walking, by herself...

Google is currently reviewing Hannah's newest video. Per their policy they
review the video to make sure it is not pornographic prior to allowing it to
be viewed. Anyway I tell you this because as soon as it is released it will
be posted here. Those who have seen it already have been impressed with
Hannah's ability to walk at just 10 months old! I think the video will be
released for viewing Monday afternoon. -Management

All the walking Hannah has been doing is really tiring her out! Today Hannah stood up several times by herself and walked to Momma. Momma was on the phone and bored Hannah, so she fell asleep.

Hannah's website

All,
After looking through the pictures from the crawfish party,
there really are not any good ones of Hannah to post. However, there is
a really good video on the way! Last night Hannah decided she would
walk a little bit, and we got it on tape. Transferring video to be
posted on the site takes a couple days, but keep an eye out for it.

Crawfish weekend update...

Unfortunately Hannah was not able to pose with any crawfish this weekend.
The trip left her tired and when she arrived the morning of the party the
lively crawfish had all met a very warm ending, thus no pictures were taken
with the crawfish. There were many pictures taken over the weekend, and
some time this week management will post them. Please keep any eye out for
them later in the week. -Management

This is likely the last post before this weekend's annual Bug Boil party! Hannah will only be there a short while, but she will most likely pose with a crawfish for the first time on the trip. Be on the look out early next week for that. -Management

Another lesson Mommy and Daddy learned that day is that Hannah does NOT like the feel of grass on her feet. I hope she likes beach sand. -Andrew

But they are few and far between when all your daughter wants to do is sleep and not be bothered.

There might be a good moment sandwiched in between the cranky ones.

And it gets louder.

But it gets worse, and so do the pictures.

Mommy and Daddy learned a valuable lesson this past weekend. It is NOT a good idea to take your sleepy child to the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame, or any other place for that matter, and try to get some really good pictures of her. You will see our progression on the next few posts, but it will not give you a true to life feel of how bad an idea it is to wake your tired child up for pictures.
It does not look so bad here, does it?

Hannah Saying "Momma"

Hannah is walking!

The big news on Hannah is she stood up and took some steps at school
yesterday, without holding on to anything. This big development has her
Daddy wondering if he can cover all of the hard wood floors in the house
with something soft. Daddy will try to get some video and work on
posting it on www.cribchambers.com.

Hannah and Stephanie are watching a "Whale Shark" in the Home Depot section of the aquarium. I am not sure why they would name something two animals (whale and shark), it sounds like someone could not make up their mind. Anyway, Hannah enjoyed watching them. This viewing window is probably the best view in the entire aquarium. -Andrew

You can see Hannah was infatuated with the tank we walked through/under. The Georgia Aquarium really has some neat displays, and this one was one of the coolest ones. While we were in there some divers got in the tank and swam around with the fish. It was odd to see them in there with such large dangerous looking fish.

Momma showed Hannah the fish in the tanks. She was very interested, however, when Momma put Hannah down to get a picture of her in front of the tank Hannah threw a fit. We had never seen her act that way. I think she was angry at all of the rude people pushing their way through the crowds. -Andrew

You might ask... Why is Hannah covered up in a blanket in Atlanta in the spring? Well, Daddy had the same question. But Momma was right, it was cold in the Georgia Aquarium. With exhibits like "The Cold Water Quest", Stephanie was right to bring something warm for Hannah.

As I said in the last post... Hannah was very intense watching the game. The white in her eyes is actually the reflection of the ice rink. That reflection was in her eyes all night... well... except for the time she was asleep. -Andrew

Hannah enjoyed just about everything about the hockey game, even the tasty flyers they hand out when you take your seat. You can see that she was mesmerized by the game.

Hannah took her parents to Atlanta this past weekend. She also took them to her first National Hockey League game, the Atlanta Thrasher's game. She was a little confused going into the game. Here she is riding on her momma's shoulders up the escalator to her seats. She thought there were 4 periods in the game, hence her four fingers in this picture.

Hannah is off to the big city where Kat (shown here) and Brandon (not shown here) will be keeping her all day Saturday and Sunday morning so that Hannah's parents can have some time to themselves in the big city. When the family gets back there are sure to be pictures to post.

Tickle My Tongue, Please

Hannah's new thing is she LOVES to have her tongue tickled. The other night she made a request to have her tongue "washed" during bathtime. Who knew washing & tickling the tongue could be so much fun!

Hannah, Stephanie, and Andrew met Susan Skaden at the Augusta Spartan's arena football game a couple weekends back. This was the first, and so far the only, time Hannah wanted Daddy to hold her all night. Any time anyone but Daddy was holding Hannah, she would get upset and reach for him. Hannah might have been jealous that Daddy was holding his camera and not her. Daddy did not get many pictures that night. -Management

Of course there are many great moments with Hannah. She has been standing and smiling a lot lately. She was in a great mood a few nights ago and in this picture you can see she is really happy, as always.

The mess Hannah was able to create while eating tonight is amazing. Black and White photography really shows it well.

The joys of parenthood, as many of the loyal readers know, are plenty. Watching you child grow and learn is one of those many joys. Some that might not qualify as "joys" are watching you child learn how to spit food all over herself, drool all over your leather couches, or when she finally learns how to spit her food on you while you are trying to feed her. Although I do not yet know first hand, potty training might not be a great "joy" either. -Andrew

Sometimes you can just be sitting in the room and watching television, and all of a sudden you realize you have not heard anything from Hannah in a while. Then you look at her and she has that look like she has done something wrong. You might not know what she did, but she does and that is why she shoots you that look. It is just a matter of time before you find out what she did.
