This is Daddy, and I can not remember the last time I posted. 
My "Grandma" came to visit for a surprise. Great Grandma and Hannah got cozy reading books and talking. At one point at dinner the first night, Hannah walked up to Great Grandma and asked, "What is your name?"
We cheated and took him for professional pictures early to capture the first cupcake. He L-O-V-E-D it!

So every night we say the Our Father. Lately, I've been saying parts of it and Hannah fills in the blanks. So the other night's prayer went something like this:
M: "Our Father who art in"
H: "Heaven"
M: "Hallowed by thy"
H: "name"
M: "thy"
H: "kingdom come"
M: "thy will be"
H: "done"
M: "on earth as it is"
H: "in heaven"
M: "give us this"
H: "day"
M; "our daily"
H: "bread"
M: "and forgive us"
H: "our trespasses"
M: "as we forgive those who trespass"
H: "against us"
M: "and lead us not"
H: "into temptation"
M: "but deliver us"
H: "mail"
M: "what? Did you say mail"
H: "yeah, and bring us some art"
I laughed until I cried. Please Lord, deliver us mail.
Our apologies for the past few weeks with no posts! We went to the beach for Easter for a not so great photo shoot. There were a couple that were passable, but for the most part, not so much.

We thought we could make them happy by taking them in the water.
We were wrong.
Reilly: "Hey Lady. You just plopped my in the sand. I DO. NOT. LIKE. IT."
Hannah" "I think I have somethin' in my booty."
Mom & Dad: "OK, let's go HOME!"
Back Home, Reilly is a happy camper in his seat. Actually he's pretty happy anytime he gets to eat. 
"Ok, I posed for a dang picture. Now, give me some food. Yeah, I know I have cheerios on my shirt, but those are for emergencies."
The local toy store had some farm animals visit their store this week. In between the rain showers, we were able to go see them. They had a rooster, a cow, a miniature horse, some sheep, a donkey, and a fat lazy pig. (Sorry, we only got pictures of the rooster and the sheep!)

Meanwhile, Hannah got to brush some sheep. She had a blast!
Yesterday we went to the doctor's office for them to re-check Reilly's ears to make sure the medicine had zapped the double ear infection. While we were there waiting in the examination room, Hannah asked if she could get up on the table with Reilly. Sure, no problem. She looks me straight in the eye and said "Momma, I would like to not get a shot today, please."
Such a polite, well mannered little girl (when she thinks it will work in her favor).

Today, Hannah, Reilly and I were sitting in McDonald's having an ice cream cone. Hannah was making a really big mess with it as it dripped down her shirt. I mean, it was all over her nose, her shirt, her pants, etc. So I told Hannah that I get messy sometimes too when I eat ice cream. I told her about the time when I was in college... I was driving with an ice cream cone and somehow smashed it into the windshield blocking my view (thank goodness I was only backing out and could put it back in park!) Anyway, so I see wheels turning in Hannah's head when she asked:
"Who was watching us while you were at college?"
I laughed and then told her she wasn't born yet. She said "Yes, I was." Uh... no you weren't. I left it at that because she was distracted again by the oh-so-yummy ice cream that she was smearing on her nose.
H - "Hey Momma, let's read the Sadly Fear book."
M - "What?"
H - "The S-A-D-L-Y F-E-A-R book, M-O-M-M-A." (AS IF I'M MENTALLY CHALLENGED)
M - (LONG PAUSE WHILE THE WHEELS TURNED IN MY HEAD WONDERING WHAT BOOK SHE'S TALKING ABOUT) "AHHH! THE THREE LITTLE KITTENS BOOK."
H - "Yeah, The Sadly Fear book."
For those that don't know the book, it reads..."Oh Mother Dear, we SADLY FEAR that we have lost our mittens. What? Lost your mittens. You naughty kittens. You shall have no pie."...
And her Daddy calls me Miss Details. I think she beats me in that category!
Reilly is 9 months old today. Wow, the time has flown by. At last check, he was 18 pounds. We go to the doctor next week for our official stats.
Reilly stood up for the camera in this video, or maybe someone propped him up. But he stands all by himself for a little bit.
Hannah shows us she has learned how to wink her eyes back and forth. Pretty funny girl!
Here's the conversation on the way to school today:
H: "Hey, Momma. When I get to school today I'm going to tell everybody I have my Valentine panties on!"
M: "OK, Hannah!"
H: "Yeah! It'll be like their special treat".
M: "Yes it will, Hannah. Yes it will."
(Thank you to Aunt Jillian for the Valentine panties. Who knew we'd get a laugh out of those!)
Although he's not yet crawling, when propped up, he will stand all day! Will he walk before he crawls? We don't know!
