Sullivan lounging around, on his tummy.

Sullivan has been working on his roll over skills. He can now roll from tummy to back pretty well, but he doesn't seem to do that well going the other way around. Daddy recently got a new camera lens that lets him do a little more creative work with the camera. So we worked together on a few pictures this afternoon (it was halftime of the football game). Here are a couple from halftime...
Hannah is getting older and starting to look like a big girl! She is also is getting to be a really good model for when the family photographer gets new equipment! Here she was posing for our new lighting equipment. Hannah continues to be a great big sister and helps out a lot with her brothers. She also intentionally get under Reilly's skin just to mess with him.
As a mother of 3 young children, I am realizing that the English language has a lot of instances of words that sound the same, but are spelled differently, and have totally different meanings. I know there’s a technical term for these words, but I forget.
So, a couple months ago, we were in the car and Reilly spots a red truck. He emphatically tells me to look at the red truck. I asked him if he knew what kind of truck it was. Nope. I told him it was a tow truck. Oh, he says as if he knew all about tow trucks.
I asked him if he knew what tow trucks are used for. Yeah, he says (still struggling with his “Rs”). “It’s for when ya bwake ya toe, ya put it onna toe twuck.”
Weight – 14 lbs 8 oz (44%)
Height – 24 3/4” (46%)
Head – 42.4cm (54%)
Scary how close he is to his brother’s stats! He is 3/4 of an inch longer, his head is .1cm bigger, and he weighs EXACTLY the same at this age.
Sullivan is a growing, happy, healthy baby boy. He is a joy to have around. You almost don’t even know he’s here (except when he’s hungry!). He smiles at his brother and sister all.day.long! I can tell he can’t wait to get down in the floor and play with them. He will be starting rice cereal soon…. as soon as the photographer is ready!

This picture makes me laugh. Mommy had taken the pacifier out (for picture purposes). Sullivan began to scream. Father Murphy said “Put that thing back in.” Ha!

I realize it’s August 13th and Hannah’s birthday was July 1st. I am really behind on posts I know! Better late than never??

It’s confirmed! Hannah is a healthy little 6 year old girl! She’s weighs about 1 pound per inch!!
2 days after Sullivan's baptism, Reilly saw a picture of when he was baptized. He said, "Sissy, is that a picture from when Sullivan was 'appetized'?!!
Last week we were getting ready for our trip to the beach and I told Hannah that I needed her to be a really good girl and a good helper in the car with the boys. She had been wanting a fish for quite some time and so I broke down and promised that she'd get a fish if she was really good. [subplot - Hannah's idol, Candice, had just asked me what she could get her for her birthday and I told her the only thing she hadn't gotten and really wanted was a fish. Not really thinking through the logistics of getting a fish home from Mobile. ]
We were leaving a restaurant a couple weeks ago and Reilly asked for a cup of water. I told him that we really didn't need any more water before we got home. Without hesitation he says, "well, den I'wwa just take a milkshake."
This past weekend we baptized Sullivan. (pictures to follow). During the Mass, the priest was speaking symbolically when he said "I am God and I am Here" in these troubled times when people are asking where God is. Ok... so most of the audience picked up on this symbolism. Not Reilly. While the priest was giving out the chalices to the Eucharistic Ministers Reilly said "Hmmm. What's God doing?" I started laughing hysterically. I knew exactly what he meant... I mean the priest DID just say HE was God!
I know I'm posting this late, but at least I'm posting it :) His 2 month doctor visit was June 27, 2011 and here are his stats:
